Brown dwarfs 101

A Brown dwarfs are objects which have a size between that of a giant planet like Jupiter and that of a small star.Brown dwarfs are not massive enough to sustain nuclear fusion of ordinary hydrogen to helium in their cores.Brown dwarfs are not very luminous at visible wavelengths and suspected contain the “missing mass” of the universe.
